Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn, born 19th August 1965, is an American actress. She is best known for her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. After the end of the seventh season, the series was cancelled on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for a Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) and What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was a New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and therapist for families, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish, was of English and Episcopalian descent. Sedgwick has identified herself as Jewish and has said that she attends Passover seders.
