Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as well as a television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. She was able to observe the impact of the election on people in that country and, as a result, became aware of the impact that US politics have on the lives of people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was host of The Cycle, an MSNBC show The Cycle. She was co-hosting the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 through July 2015.
