Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaigns Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. 20 Psaki resigned as spokesperson for United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. It was believed that she would replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21However, Josh Earnest was announced to replace Carney on May 30, 2014. She was appointed communications director in the White House and continued to do so until the end of 2015.
